Know what to reorder, and what it really cost
Spike turns what actually sold into a reorder quantity per variant, then follows the stock all the way to the shelf — purchase order, delivery, freight, landed cost.
- A sales rate that is not distorted by being out of stock. Days a variant was unsellable are excluded from its rate, so an item that sold out is not mistaken for an item nobody wanted. Stock already on order is subtracted, so the same delivery is never ordered twice.
- Purchase orders your supplier can act on. Draft against suggested quantities, respect the minimum order quantity and case pack they actually enforce, and issue a PDF. Editing an order that has been sent raises a new revision rather than quietly rewriting the one they already have.
- Landed cost, not just the invoice price. Freight, duty and handling are allocated across the units you kept — by value, by quantity or by weight — to the cent. The result becomes a weighted-average cost history you can read back, and it is written to Shopify so your margins use the real number.
- Receiving that tells you when something did not land. Stock recorded here but not yet in Shopify is retried automatically, and anything that cannot be resolved safely is reported rather than guessed at. Stock a merchant has paid for should never be invisible.
